A question
Have you ever really hurt someone emotionally through carelessness, and then felt absolutely sick over it?
Have you ever worried you would lose a friend because of something you did, even though you still really treasure the friendship?
Have you ever wished you could go back and undo what you did?
I have.

Wow ... I'm writing this one off as providence over coincidence, as my answer to #1 is a resounding YES.
Yesterday was my day of being thoughtless.
And the sick, lower-than-the-scum-of-the-earth feeling was immediate.
Hey bud... don't be so hard on yourself... We are human... i.e. mistake prone. No matter how "perfect" we try to be or how "good" of a person we try to be... There is always this minute moment where you either don't feel good, aren't in a good mood, or both and all of a sudden right from wrong just becomes a blurry thought and gets put on the back burner... next thing you know you have this sick feeling in your stomach like you just ate a poisonous mushroom (not that I know how that feels like and I can only imagine) but there is another thing to being human. Forgiveness ... the ability for the human to place him/herself in the other person's shoes and feel the pain, happiness or sadness is what helps us coexist with one another :).
I think I would like to quote from "The Mask of Zorro"
A: "...it has been three days since my last confession."
Z: "Three Days?! How many sins can you have committed in three days? Come back when you have more time."
A: "Excuse me?"
Z: "Listen, seƱorita... Please, go on."
A: "I broke the fourth commandment."
Z: "You killed somebody?"
A: "No! That is not the fourth commandment."
Z: "Of Course not. ...In what way did you break the most sacred of commandments?"
A: "I dishonored my Father"
Z: "That is not so bad. Maybe your Father deserved it."
A: "What did you say?"
Z: "I said, Tell me more, My Child."
I think it is a lot like that:-)
